120 Inspectors Deployed for Maritime Mobilization

The Panama Maritime Authority (AMP) has deployed 120 inspectors at 32 strategic and authorized points nationwide to supervise and regulate the movement of people. This measure has been implemented with the aim of ensuring safety and compliance with regulations in maritime activities.

During the last day, a total of 13,509 people used the maritime route in Panama, according to AMP records. This figure reflects the importance and relevance of maritime transportation in the country, as well as the need to maintain efficient control to protect users and prevent risk situations.

In the words of a representative of the AMP: "Our commitment is to ensure the safety of all people using maritime transportation in Panama. With this deployment of inspectors, we aim to guarantee compliance with current regulations and that travels are conducted safely and orderly."

The presence of inspectors at strategic points has allowed for documentation checks, verification of vessel conditions, and supervision of compliance with safety measures. In this way, we seek to prevent incidents and promote a culture of responsibility in the maritime sector.

The AMP will continue with these supervision and control actions to ensure that both local residents and tourists using maritime transportation in Panama do so safely and reliably. The collaboration of users and compliance with regulations are essential to guarantee the protection of all involved in these activities.
