The Presidential Couple of Panama, composed of President José Raúl Mulino and First Lady Maricel Cohen de Mulino, had the pleasure of receiving a group of first-grade students from Balboa Academy this morning. During the visit, the students, including the granddaughter of the presidential couple, Sofía Victoria Fábrega Mulino, had the opportunity to enjoy a tour of the Presidency of the Republic.
During the visit, the youths visited two emblematic rooms of the palace, the Yellow Room and the Tamarind Room. There, they received an interesting historical overview of the importance and significance of these spaces, as well as of the Palace of Las Garzas in general. In addition, they had the opportunity to appreciate the artworks that adorn the walls of the rooms while being enlightened about the various artistic manifestations present in the place.
At the end of the tour, the Presidential Couple shared a snack with the students, thus strengthening the ties with the educational community and promoting interaction with the future generations of the country. The visit of the students from Balboa Academy was an enriching experience for both the children and the president and the First Lady, who enjoyed the opportunity to share knowledge and special moments with the youngest.
