On Tuesday night, an incident occurred in the Cristóbal area, Colón Province, Panama. A woman driving a Nissan X-Trail vehicle fell into a ravine near the José Dominado Bazan residential area. Around 7:00 PM, she was unable to get out of the car, which became submerged in water. At that moment, a police patrol passing by heard a person calling for help from the bottom of the ravine. An officer from the National Police of the Canal Area jumped into the ravine and performed a rescue maneuver, managing to open the door of the submerged vehicle. The woman was rescued before she could drown. First aid was provided at the scene, and the driver stated she had no injuries. Her relatives then took her to a medical center for further attention, thanking the heroic police officer for saving her life.
