César Anel Rodríguez, president of the Miss Panama Organization and national director of Miss Universe Panama, stated that he is considering traveling to Thailand to join national winner Mirna Caballini. He is set to make important announcements regarding the national beauty pageant this week and next. Rodríguez mentioned that he is currently finalizing documents and procedures to make announcements about venues in Panama. This travel would be in addition to a potential trip to Thailand for the international pageant's activities. He confirmed that the Panamanian contestant is fully prepared for the preliminary competition. Mirna Caballini was absent for two days (November 10-11) due to a mild case of food poisoning but has since returned to official events. The schedule includes the beachwear parade in Pattaya on November 14, closed-door interviews on November 15, the national costume preliminary on November 19, and the grand final on November 21, where the successor to Miss Universe 2024, Victoria Kjær, will be crowned.
