One person was killed and two others were injured in an intense shootout that occurred on Monday afternoon in the barracks of Puerto Pilón, in the province of Colón, Panama. The three people affected by the attack were initially taken to the emergency room of the Policlinic Don Laurencio Jaén Ocaña, in the Sabanitas area, to receive medical attention. However, one of the injured, who was transported in a yellow-striped pickup truck, arrived with no vital signs. Subsequently, the surviving victims were transferred to the emergency room of the Dr. Manuel Amador Guerrero Hospital Complex in the city of Colón. The body of the deceased remained at the Sabanitas Policlinic facilities for the forensic team to carry out the removal.
