In Panama, police rescued four women who had been held captive in their own home in Colón. The incident occurred on Calle sexta, in the Nuevo Cristóbal area. Three suspects were apprehended during the operation. According to police official Carlos Asprilla, officers responded to the call and, through intelligence work, managed to free the victims. During the action, police apprehended three males (two minors and one adult) who were on the roof of the house. Additionally, cash and electronic devices stolen from the victims were found inside the property, which will be crucial for the prosecution of the case. After the rescue, the suspects and evidence were taken to the nearest police station before being handed over to the Public Ministry. The investigation into this case will determine the motive for the crime against personal liberty.
