Mirna Caballini dazzled at the Miss Universe 2025 preliminary competition, held on November 19 at the Impact Arena in Pak Kret, Bangkok, Thailand.
National Director of Miss Universe Panama, César Anel Rodríguez, commented on the performance of the Panamanian beauty ambassador, stating: "She lacked nothing." He added that now all that's left is to wait, as it's almost time to find out who will succeed Miss Universe 2024, Victoria Kjær Theilvig (Denmark).
The Panamanian's walks did not go unnoticed; she was applauded and cheered in both rounds. Her walk preparation, according to the Miss Panama Organization, was overseen by Rita Silvestre.
In the first part of the preliminary, Caballini started strong, with a confident stride, showcasing a two-piece red swimsuit with a matching pareo.
The most anticipated moment of the evening (around 10:00 AM in Panama) was when she shone on stage in a Vietnamese design by Thuong Gia Ky.
"As a candidate, she gave what she had to give," Rodriguez told Panama América.
It's worth mentioning that the Panamanian's participation has been highly praised on social media. Among the reactions to the post, one can read: "She has a natural elegance, one of the best preliminaries by a Panamanian, SHE LOOKED VERY BEAUTIFUL MIRNA", "Gorgeous Panama", "Spectacular", and "A true queen!".
The competition, hosted by R’Bonney Gabriel (Miss Universe 2022), was divided into two parts: the swimsuit and evening gown competitions, both crucial for selecting the 30 semifinalists for the pageant final, which will take place on November 21.
In the national costume competition, she wore the "Golden Chant of the Great Cacique" by designer Daniel Cortina Gómez, an evocation of the splendor, wealth, and complex worldview of the Isthmus, paying tribute to the legendary cultures of Gran Coclé and Veraguas.
