The mayor has visited the victims and is monitoring the situation. At the scene, SINAPROC, the Red Cross, and 911 ambulances were working. According to initial reports, the car hit approximately 20 people, 8 of whom were injured and taken to San Miguel Arcángel Hospital for medical attention. All victims are in stable condition. Residents and attendees describe moments of panic, with screams and running as the vehicle moved out of control. This incident highlights the need for better control over parades and the responsibility of each delegation to protect the people who come out to celebrate.

"Due to the incident that occurred at the end of the parade, in which a vehicle from one of the delegations was involved, the attention protocols were immediately activated with personnel from the Red Cross, SINAPROC, and emergency teams," said Irma Hernández, mayor of San Miguelito.
