40-year-old artist known as Arcángel revealed during the presentation of his eighth studio album, 'La octava maravilla', that this is his first album created completely sober, without consuming alcohol or marijuana. The artist noted that he previously believed his creativity depended on substance use, but after undergoing open-heart surgery, he realized this was not the case. 'I can create at any time, even in my worst moment,' he said. Arcángel also added that after quitting these habits, he thinks faster and feels better personally. 'If you need any kind of drug to create, then you are not a very good creator,' he emphasized.
