Cobre Panamá is participating in the Flowers and Coffee Fair in Boquete, held from January 7 to 18, bringing clear and accessible information to the public about its mining operations. Boquete is a meeting point, a place of joy and tourism, and we want to be part of that positive energy, states Maru Gálvez, Public Relations Manager of Cobre Panamá. Additionally, the company has a presence on the LED screens of the Los Quetzales show stage, one of the event's most crowded spots, accompanying the artistic and cultural programming throughout the fair. By participating in Boquete, Cobre Panamá reaffirms its commitment to maintaining open channels of information, dialogue, and transparency with the communities, strengthening trust and promoting an informed understanding of mining activity in the country. Through educational and interactive spaces, the company shows how resources such as water are managed, explains the importance of responsible mining, participates in this cultural and tourist event, and dialogues with thousands of visitors in Chiriquí. During the fair, Cobre Panamá displays its well-known water model, a didactic tool that sparks great interest and allows children, young people, and adults to simply understand the management of water resources in a modern mining operation. It also features CoCo, Cobre Panamá's artificial intelligence avatar, which answers questions about mining, the environment, legal, and economic aspects, strengthening the approach and interaction with the community. We are very excited to be able to share again with Panamanian families at such a beloved event as the Flowers and Coffee Fair.
