A young man, Kenneth Quintero De Sedas, 21, was injured in the early hours of Monday after being attacked while walking inside the Gatuncillo Norte community, in the corregimiento of San Juan, in the Transístmica area of the Colón province. The injured man was assisted and transported by units of the National Police to the emergency room of the Policlinic of San Juan, located in the corregimiento of Buena Vista, where he received medical attention. According to the preliminary report, Quintero De Sedas was walking when he was surprised by a subject who shot him several times on the premises of a bar in the area. One of the projectiles hit him in the abdomen, while the other hit him in the right side of the chest, lodging in the right shoulder. The case is being handled by the Judicial Investigation Section of the Buena Vista police station, while the investigation into this attempted murder remains open.
