One assailant was killed and another injured in a shootout with the owner of the agrotourism farm 'Ostriches', located in the Rio Hato district, Coclé province. The farm owner, who had previously reported other thefts at the property, defended himself with a licensed shotgun. National Police (PN) units, with the help of drones, are searching for two other assailants, allegedly shot, in the pastures near the farm. The police are also searching for a vehicle in which the criminal group was presumably traveling. The deceased assailant had a criminal record for drug possession, crimes against collective security, and attempted homicide.
