Additionally, in some areas, the Search and Rescue Plan (PBR) was activated, where a total of four operations were carried out. These included three cases of trauma and lacerations to the thumb at Playa Arrimadero, Veraguas province, and one case due to a medical condition of a disoriented person at Playa Las Lajas, Chiriquí province. The National Civil Protection System (Sinaproc) also maintained preventive tours on trails, highlighting the work done in the Cañón Macho de Monte, Volcán Barú, and Tierras Altas areas, with no incidents reported. The entity reiterates to the public the importance of staying informed, taking extreme precautions when engaging in outdoor activities, and avoiding entering the sea in unmonitored areas. Similarly, it requests to follow the recommendations of security authorities, especially for hikers, agricultural workers, and users of small boats.
