Yesterday, March 5, Mirta Rodríguez remembered the folklorist Óscar Poveda, her teacher and mentor, 11 years after his death. Using a slide show of photos from moments on 'Hecho en Panamá,' the former host stated that she still misses his physical presence, but knows that from heaven he is watching over her and seeing how his grandchildren have grown. 'I miss you so much Óscar, I miss your voice, your hugs, your stories, your chants, but what I miss the most is your smile and joy. I still cry for your physical absence, but I know you always keep an eye on me from heaven and see how your grandchildren have grown,' Mirta expressed.
