Acosta explained that he decided to delete the original video not out of fear, but because upon reviewing it, he realized he had crossed a line by mentioning María del Pilar, who —in his own words— had nothing to do with the conflict. 'I didn't take down the video out of fear of Barceló, I took it down because I feel I went too far when I talked about María del Pilar,' Acosta expressed, acknowledging that he acted impulsively. In his message, he also apologized on a national level and reflected on respect for women, stating that he comes from a family with mothers, sisters, and a partner, so he understands that his words may have been offensive. 'I want to apologize. Maybe I got carried away by the impulse and said things I shouldn't have said,' he stated. I am a human being with virtues, flaws, and many mistakes.
