Moments of tension were experienced this Monday afternoon inside the Comprehensive Care Center (CAI) of Tocumen, where disorders involving adolescents were recorded, a situation that put the safety of the minors and the staff working there at risk. The National Secretariat of Childhood, Adolescence and Family reported that the incident compromised the integrity of children, adolescents, and officials from the center, which forced the immediate activation of established care protocols. During the situation, an intervention was coordinated with the Police of Childhood and Adolescence, the Public Ministry, the Ombudsman's Office, and the Ministry of Social Development, with the aim of controlling the incident and safeguarding those involved. The authorities are maintaining attention on the case to guarantee protection and well-being within the center while handling the situation derived from the riots.
