My journalistic career began on the radio at El Gigante RPC. However, I soon became more interested in written journalism. I started at La Prensa and then at El Universal de Panamá, where I worked for about five years. Subsequently, I returned to La Prensa, where I was for around seven years, and finally spent 18 years at La Prensa again.
During these years, I was able to cover a wide range of topics and events in Panama, which allowed me to grow professionally and closely understand the reality of the country. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to interview prominent personalities and investigate topics of public interest.
One of the most rewarding aspects of my work has been being able to inform Panamanian society about relevant issues and contribute, as much as possible, to generating informed and constructive debate in public opinion. Over the years, I have learned the importance of objectivity and journalistic ethics, values that I have always sought to maintain in my work as a communicator.
