The arrest was carried out by units of the National Aeronaval Service, in conjunction with the Public Ministry. The apprehension came after a video circulated on social media showing the woman brutally assaulting the child's face without remorse. This footage sparked public outrage and triggered an official investigation that resulted in her arrest for violations of the juridical, family, and civil order, under the modality of child abuse. Now, the woman is in the custody of the authorities and will have to answer for her actions. The country expects justice to be served, as no blow against a child should go unpunished. Senniaf stated yesterday in a press release that it has verified that the minor is with a relative who provides her with protection.
