In August of this year, the Senior Prosecutor for Homicides in West Panama, Luis Alberto Martínez, confirmed 15 cases under investigation for alleged medical negligence involving doctors from this hospital. Three doctors working at the Nicolás A. During the hearing, the guarantees judge ordered the precautionary measure of suspension of duty for two of these doctors. The event under investigation occurred between April 17 and 22, 2021.
