From the Ministry of Health (Minsa), the National Day of Humanization is a permanent call to act with sensitivity, responsibility, and a vocation for service, so that each patient and each family finds in the health system not only medical care, but also respect, understanding, and hope. Meanwhile, the Director of Health Service Provision of the Minsa, María Victoria de Crespo, thanked the entire team that worked on this Decree, stating that it is not just a regulatory achievement, but a declaration of principles that combines technical quality with human warmth in health services. In this context, the Ministry of Health (Minsa) and the Social Security System (CSS) held the official launch of the decree, highlighting that humanization in health is an act of justice and respect for human dignity. The Minister of Health, Fernando Boyd Galindo, indicated that humanization must be visible in concrete actions: from the entrance, in reception, in registration, in admissions, in consultations, in emergencies, in waiting rooms, and at every point of contact with the patient and their family. Humanization is not the responsibility of a single institution or a single professional group. The event was attended by national and regional directors of Minsa, directors of Minsa and CSS hospitals, and International Cooperation Organizations. «It will only be possible through articulated work between the Ministry of Health, the Social Security System, hospital authorities, guilds, universities, and every health worker who, in their role, has direct or indirect contact with the patient,» said Boyd Galindo. For his part, the director of the Social Security System (CSS), Dino Mon, stated that «the patient will no longer be a number, will not be a procedure, will not be a file, but a person who trusts the health system». «This commitment calls us all.
