The National Aeronaval Service captured three citizens while transporting more than a ton of drugs in a small boat. The operation took place south of Punta Coco, in the Panamanian Pacific.
According to official reports, the individuals were detained at sea by the competent authorities. At the time of the capture, it was found that the vessel was carrying a significant amount of drugs.
In the words of a representative of the National Aeronaval Service, "This operation is a serious blow to drug trafficking in the region. Our team will continue to work with determination to combat this scourge and ensure the safety of our citizens."
