Can money replace the Homeland? Can the Homeland be exchanged for money? The Homeland is lived; it is something deeper than money. Handing over power to Panama for a few more dollars to satisfy colonial appetites is unacceptable. What is of greater importance: God or Homeland? The Homeland is not based on immoral enrichment or neocolonization.
"Mr. Mulino: violence gives rise to storms, and you know this very well." - Rafael García Denvers, Coordinator of the Torrijista Vanguard (VT).
The change of motto of the National Police from "To Protect and Serve" to "God and Homeland" has ideological and political reasons. The current economic model has elevated money and material wealth to an almost divine level, distancing it from the earthly. The governmental elite, representative of local and international financial capital, seems obsessed with accumulating money.
The Government, defender of financial capital, has changed the police motto to "God and Homeland," where there seems to be a synonym between God and Money. The Homeland is seen as just another commodity. "Guarantee me to have the money to make the Homeland my gold mine," seems to be the slogan. Let’s not push the country into the abyss.
It is crucial to remember that the United States has no friends, only interests. The Homeland is not about cash registers or wallets filled at the expense of the exploitation of a noble people. The truth is that the Homeland cannot be exchanged for economic interests. Is that really the purpose of the National Police?
The Homeland is lived through the efforts of those who defended it. It is not about enriching oneself at the expense of collective resources and the sweat of the people. Let’s not allow what does not favor Washington to be discarded. The confrontation between the people and the Government to prevent the funds of the CSS from being stolen shows that the Homeland goes beyond financial interests.
