According to the latest Doxa survey for Arca Media, the majority of those surveyed are in favor of reopening the Panama Mine. The survey, conducted from November 17 to 24, revealed that many respondents also ask President José Raúl Mulino to have a 'hard hand' and tighten the reins in decision-making, as they feel the country needs firm and unwavering leadership. In the political arena, where the street does not forgive, Ricardo Martinelli continues to lead in positive image, maintaining 51% and staying at the top of popular affection. Behind Martinelli are Juan Diego Vásquez (43%), Mayor Mayer Mizrachi (40%), Martín Torrijos (25%), Ricardo Lombana (23%), and, further down, Juan Carlos Varela (14%).
