Panama Indigenous Leader's Precautionary Measure Changed

In Panama, indigenous leader Toribio García Jiménez has had his precautionary measure changed. He was previously under house arrest. Now, he is allowed to attend medical appointments regularly due to chronic illnesses requiring continuous care. This is the new precautionary measure the indigenous leader must comply with, imposed after the Appeals Court revoked his house arrest. García had been confined to his residence since June after a guarantees judge charged him with crime apology and attacking the State's legal personality. Despite the change in precautionary measure, García remains prohibited from using social networks. He must report to authorities on the 15th and 30th of each month.
