Was an attack on democracy attempted or not? According to Karima Karamañites, Planells knew a day in advance that all of Panama would be involved in the case that disqualified Ricardo Martinelli from his presidential run, and his name appears in a supposed plot to constitutionally block the candidacy of current president José Raúl Mulino. The only thing that managed to shake Planells out of his matrix were the accusations from the U.S. ambassador and the threat to revoke the anti-corruption champion distinction awarded by U.S. President, the Democrat, Joe Biden. Panama demands answers. Mrs. Planells, defend your honor, it is time you show a gram of respect for this country and for those who once believed in your leadership, in your integrity, in your uprightness and considered you the last bastion of the fight against the corrupt. Not doing so is more than a betrayal and there is no worse betrayal than betraying yourself. But if Planells continues with this abominable silence, Prosecutor Luis Gómez should seek the truth, was there or was not an attempted coup? Panama deserves to know the truth about these revelations.
