Panama's Deputy Announces Her First Pregnancy

The deputy for circuit 8-3, Walkiria Chandler, with a 'heart full of illusion', announced she is expecting her first child. This personal journey has led her to reflect on love and the future she is building for Panama. Chandler, a deputy for free nomination, firmly believes in the importance of exercising human rights naturally and visibly, and her pregnancy and future motherhood are part of those rights she defends for Panamanian women. 'I want to be an example that public service and motherhood are not only compatible but also empower each other,' wrote the deputy. She also guaranteed the 8-3 circuit the absolute continuity of her work during this period, for which she worked with her team on a plan. 'And to you, Panama: I return with redoubled effort to deliver to my son, and to all the children of this land, a better country than the one I found,' she mentioned. '(...)
