Another violent incident has been reported in Panama. In the city of Pan de Azúcar, San Miguelito district, a 20-year-old Nicaraguan citizen, Nicolás Corrales Jeremías, was shot dead. The incident occurred yesterday evening after 8:00 p.m. An unknown assailant approached the young man and, without a word, opened fire. After the attack, the perpetrator fled. Local residents immediately called the police. Upon arrival, officers found the victim and transported him to San Miguel Arcángel Hospital. Despite an emergency operation, the young man succumbed to his injuries. According to doctors, he had gunshot wounds to both sides of his body and another in the jaw.
