A body with a criminal past has been found in Panama. The body of 30-year-old Humberto Aldayr Zelaya Ruiz was found in a state of decomposition in the Los Lagos sector, in the district of Pedro Miguel. Yesterday, around 5:30 p.m., local rangers located the body during their patrol on a trail located 200 meters from the Omar Torrijos highway. Officials reported the discovery to the authorities, revealing that the victim was wearing a long-sleeved black sweater with white letters on the chest, black jeans, and sneakers. It was during the body recovery process that the man was identified and it was determined that he had been killed on the spot, as seven bullet casings were collected nearby. Zelaya Ruiz had an extensive criminal record from 2017 to 2024 for various drug, sexual freedom, and extortion cases. Experts will be able to determine how long ago the murder was committed through the autopsy.
