Panamanian police continue to combat crime as part of the "Safe Holy Week 2026" operation. In this context, units from the 3rd Brigade of SENAFRONT, conducting preventive patrol in the Coquira area, apprehended a citizen. A check in the system confirmed that he had an active arrest warrant issued by the Colon and Guna Yala Homicide Prosecutor's Office. The individual was handed over to the competent authorities for the necessary procedures.
In another police action, during a patrol in the community of Chuchupate, Chiriqui province, another citizen was apprehended. He also had active warrants for his arrest for crimes against life and personal integrity, as well as for crimes against decency and sexual freedom. The suspect was taken to the Fourth Western Brigade and then handed over to the Public Ministry.
These actions are part of the "Firmness Plan" and the "Safe Holy Week 2026" operation, through which SENAFRONT reinforces its security strategies in its areas of responsibility.
