Jhan Carlos Wisdom and Keytlin Escobar are the flag bearers for Panama at this festival, both representing para-athletics. "The expectations for this tournament in Guatemala are huge," said Wisdom. The 150m, 200m, and 400m sprinter added that he has trained hard from Monday to Saturday, with the primary goal of improving his personal best, and that carrying the flag of Panama is a source of pride. "Being the flag bearer for Panama is a great responsibility," added Escobar. The 400m sprinter also mentioned that she has been preparing for several months, aiming to do a good job, just like the entire Panamanian delegation.
