Copa Airlines and the Panamanian Football Federation (Fepafut) launched the 'El avión de la Sele' contest on Wednesday, an initiative that invites Panamanians to design the livery for the aircraft that will accompany the Central American national team to the 2026 FIFA World Cup. 'As the official airline and proud sponsor of the National Team, we want the design of the aircraft's image that will accompany this dream to be created by Panamanian talent,' said Marco Ocando, Senior Director of Marketing and Loyalty Program at Copa Airlines. The winning design will be applied to a Copa Airlines Boeing aircraft operating across its 85 destinations, becoming a 'symbol of national pride.' The winning artist will also receive a trip for two, including tickets to Panama's first match in the 2026 World Cup, airfare, accommodation, meals, and transportation. According to the contest guidelines, participants must maintain the Copa Airlines logo in its standard position, correctly apply the Fepafut crest, and respect the authorized color palette.
