The Italian Enrico Fermi Institute was crowned the undefeated champion of the Under-18 Female category in the Kiwanis Basketball League (LBK) and maintains its hegemony in this sport at the school level, adding another title to its showcases in 2025. In what was an exciting match from start to finish, worthy of a Kiwanis grand final, the Italian girls from the Enrico Fermi Institute defeated the Justo Arosema Institute (IJA) with a score of 57 to 47. With a dizzying pace of play, both teams measured their forces as worthy representatives of women's school basketball, delighting all spectators with interesting basket exchanges on both sides of the court, but in the end, the Fermi girls showed their class and took the lead in the score, thus securing the victory and maintaining the unbeaten record in a dream season with a record of 8-0 and revalidating the title obtained in the last edition of 2023. The Organizing Committee is very pleased with the great game that both teams provided, highlighting the high technical level of the players and the tactical fundamentals applied to the sport, giving a spectacular women's final. For Enrico Fermi, Mikayla Hicks' performance with 12 points, nine rebounds, three steals, and four assists stands out, accompanied by Rasil Maase with 9 points, who was the leader under the boards with twenty rebounds, two blocks, and two steals; and Joraine Díaz, who was the Most Valuable Player of the game with a contribution of nine points (one key triple), five rebounds, three assists, one block, and one steal.
