Panama secured its seventh gold medal at the Bolivarian Games in athletics through Chamar Chambers' victory in the 800-meter event. This was one of seven gold medals won by Panamanian athletes at the Games.

Panama won its seventh gold medal at the Bolivarian Games, being held in the cities of Ayacucho and Lima, Peru, in athletics.

The gold medal was secured by the distinguished athlete Chamar Chambers, who triumphed in the 800-meter flat event.

Chambers won the final of his event with a time of 1:46.95 minutes, surpassing the Venezuelan José Maita (1:47.45 minutes), who took silver, and the Chilean Rafael Muñoz (1:47.56 minutes), who took bronze.

It is worth noting that the Panamanian athlete had a successful 2025, as he also won the gold medal in his event at the Central American Sports Games, held in Guatemala.

Panama's other gold medals at these games were won by gymnasts Alyiah Lide, Karla Navas, the women's artistic gymnastics team; surfer Verónica Correa; judoka Némesis Candelo; and wrestler Ángel Cortés.
