The “One Company One Classroom” Foundation, at the Nike corporate offices, held the launch of the 2026 edition of the Peace Cup, which benefits four public schools located in the San Miguelito District. The project directly impacts over 3,000 students and has been sponsored by the Foundation for 19 years.
The new edition of the Peace Cup will feature over 200 young players, girls, boys, and adolescents aged 6 to 18. The event will take place on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at the COS SPORT CENTER facilities in Metropark.
Under the motto “Share more than compete,” participants are mixed into teams named after values such as solidarity, empathy, respect, unity, and more, across different age categories: infantile, pre-juvenile, and juvenile.
In this way, by overcoming social, cultural, and economic barriers, the event promotes an encounter experience through soccer, fostering integration, camaraderie, sportsmanship, and solidarity among the participants.
During the press conference, the details of the Peace Cup and the registration date, which will begin next January, were announced.
The president of the One Company One Classroom Foundation, Nora Chiavassa de Bertello, took the opportunity to thank the sponsors of this new edition. The conference was attended by sponsors and friends of this educational and social responsibility project, such as Banco Nacional, CAF, APC, MEDCOM, and NIKE, who expressed their recognition for this noble project of great educational and social impact.
