A draw was held to determine the selection order. Coclé picked first, choosing first baseman Carlos Burac from the 'Águilas Harpías de Darién'. The second pick went to Chiriquí, where manager Ángel Chávez selected utility player Omar Vargas from Veraguas, who has national and international experience.
