Italian climber Matteo Fabbro claimed the final ascent to Al Suhub, securing his first victory of the season. In the final stage, Fabbro made a timely move, passed Nespoli, and after resisting his long chase, overtook him in the final meters to achieve success, which also secured him 4th place in the general classification.
Valerio Conti also had a strong performance, finishing the stage in the top 10. He added: "On the final climb, I moved ahead a bit, passed Nespoli, and played my cards until the last meters: it's a great satisfaction for me and for the whole team."
The team controlled the race all day, neutralizing attacks and positioning Fabbro perfectly at the start of the final 6.3 km climb. A great day for the Solution Tech-NIPPO-Rali team at the Tour of Sharjah thanks to Matteo Fabbro's victory in the queen stage.
