'That's what defines us,' Caballero stated, emphasizing that this aggressive style is the team's identity. He believes the team has a good composition to succeed, representing Panamanian baseball with strong slides, fast running, and maximum effort from pitchers. 'It's about giving 100% every time we cross the lines,' Caballero added. The Panamanian roster also includes Enrique Bradfield Jr., a top prospect known for his base-stealing ability. Bradfield, whose parents are from Panama, said the team has a chance to show this style to the world without hesitation. 'It might not always be pretty, but being part of this team means a lot to me,' he noted. Led by José Mayorga, Panama is seeking its first-ever quarterfinal appearance. The country secured its first two WBC victories in 2023 before being eliminated in an unprecedented tiebreaker among five teams.
