The Panama national team continues to complete its squad in Durban, following the arrival on Tuesday of another group of players joining the concentration ahead of friendly matches against South Africa. The Panamanian Football Federation reported that players César Blackman, Andrés Andrade, Ismael Díaz, Adalberto Carrasquilla, Kadir Barría, Jorge Gutiérrez, José Fajardo, and César Yanis are already on South African soil, reinforcing the group working under the technical staff led by Thomas Christiansen. This group joins the players who arrived on Monday, such as Roderick Miller, José Córdoba, Eric Davis, Christian Martínez, and Yoel Bárcenas. Previously, the first to report to the camp were Michael Amir Murillo, Orlando Mosquera, Luis Mejía, and Cecilio Waterman, who began their training plan with a gym session at the team hotel with physical trainer Christian Beger and physiotherapist Juan Carlos Andrión. For Tuesday, the team has its training scheduled for 11:00 a.m. at the Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium, a venue used as a training base during the 2010 World Cup. These friendly matches are part of the Panamanian squad's preparation for the FIFA World Cup 2026, where Panama is in Group L alongside England, Croatia, and Ghana. The first match against the South African side will be held at Moses Mabhida Stadium this Friday at 12:00 p.m., while the second friendly is scheduled for March 31 at DHL Stadium, starting at 12:30 p.m.
