The National Baseball Championship's Eight-Team Series is set to begin this Saturday with matchups between Chiriquí vs Veraguas and Darién vs Panamá Oeste. The first two games of the Chiriquí vs Veraguas series will be played at the Mariano Rivera Stadium. The first two games of the Darién vs Panamá Oeste series will also be held at the Mariano Rivera Stadium. In the Darién vs Panamá Oeste series, the first two games will be played in Santiago at the Omar Torrijos Stadium. This stage consists of best-of-five series. The series will then move to Metetí on Tuesday and Wednesday. If a fifth game is necessary, it will be played again at the Mariano Rivera Stadium. The other two series, Bocas del Toro vs Coclé and Herrera vs Colón, will begin on Sunday and Monday at the Calvin Byron Stadium in Changuinola and the Roberto Mariano Bula Stadium in Colón. On Wednesday and Thursday, the series will relocate to the Remón Cantera Stadium in Aguadulce and the Claudio Nieto Stadium in Monagrillo. If a fifth game is required, it will be played at the Calvin Byron and Roberto Mariano Bula stadiums. All games will start at 7:00 PM. According to the schedule released by the Panamanian Baseball Federation (Fedebeis), Chiriquí will host the first two games at the Kenny Serracín Stadium on Saturday and Sunday.
