In the preliminary rounds, Heron secured her spot in the vault final with the second-best score (13.449), demonstrating from the start her candidacy for the podium. Additionally, she advanced to the floor exercise final by placing sixth with 12.100 points, showing versatility across different apparatus. First place went to Spanish gymnast Leia Font, who scored 13.533 points, while the bronze was won by Chinese gymnast Linmin Yu with 13.349 points. The medal represents a significant step in the consolidation of the Panamanian Olympic athlete, who had already proven her competitive ability at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
