The prominent Panamanian athlete Franklin Archibold was crowned again as the Central American champion in the individual time trial Elite men's event of this regional tournament held in Costa Rica. In the race, contested on a demanding 31-kilometer course, the Chiriquí native Franklin Archibold became the Central American champion by stopping the clock at 40:28, demonstrating why he is the benchmark in the discipline and securing his fourth title in this modality. Also from Panama, Roberto González won the silver medal with a time of 41:07, closely followed by Carlos Samudio, who completed the national podium with bronze after registering 41:19. In the Elite Women's category, over a 24-kilometer route, the Panamanian representation was close to the podium by finishing in fourth place. Beyond the immediate result, this performance was strategic as it secured an additional spot for Panama at the Central American and Caribbean Games. Meanwhile, Dier Ríos and Anthony Cortés finished in fifth and sixth place, respectively, in the Junior category.
