Everything is ready for the start of the 57th edition of the National Youth Baseball Championship 'Copa Caja de Ahorros', dedicated to the Coclean legends of this sport: Darío Agrazal, David Rivas, and Benjamín Salamín. The tournament will kick off tomorrow, Saturday, with six games. The opening match will feature the current champions, Coclé, who will host Colón at the Remón Cantera stadium in Aguadulce at 7:00 PM. The Fedebeis schedule has a total of 132 games in the Regular Series, which will run from Saturday, January 3, to Wednesday, January 28. Games will be held at 13 stadiums. With the exception of Friday, January 9, when games are scheduled for 6:00 PM, all matches will start at 7:00 PM. Another highlight of the regular season schedule is that there will be three free dates: Thursday, January 8; Thursday, January 15; and Monday, January 19. The National Youth Baseball Championship will feature a round-robin regular season among the 12 participating teams in two rounds (each team will play 22 games). The top eight records will advance to the next stage, which will consist of best-of-seven series (the first to win four advances to the semifinals).
