Panama - A 67-year-old man who was riding a motorcycle died early Thursday morning after losing control of the bike and colliding with a fixed object. The fatal traffic accident occurred on the Arraiján-La Chorrera highway, heading towards the capital city, just a few meters from the access ramp of the Bique vehicular bridge, in the district of Arraiján. The preliminary report on the cause of the incident is being prepared by Accidentología of the Ministry of Public Safety and the National Directorate of Traffic Operations of the National Police. However, the theory that the motorcycle driver attempted to enter a gas station when he lost physical control of the vehicle and crashed into concrete posts, causing his death, remains. In this month of March, four people who were driving or traveling as passengers have died in three traffic accidents.
