In Panama, during 'Operation Odyssey' conducted in the district of Arraiján, Panama West, a man with a 48-month prison sentence was captured. The arrest warrant had been issued by the Third Judicial Circuit Court of Panama for the crime against collective security in its modality of drug-related crimes. The subject's apprehension by units of the Judicial Investigation Directorate took place on Calle El Pescado, in the district of Arraiján. Through the development of this operation, in the Capira district, the National Police (PN) together with the Public Prosecutor's Office apprehended another man involved in the alleged attempted murder of two people. This attempted murder occurred in the community of Tres Hermanas, Capira district, while the apprehension of the alleged homicide suspect was carried out in the Ollas Arriba district.
