Once at the location, the thieves shot him in the head, after which the vehicle left the road and fell into a ditch. At the scene, police units located two suspects of the crime and a 9-millimeter caliber firearm outside the taxi. Inside the vehicle, the driver was found, who, when attended to by paramedics from the Unique Emergency Management System (SUME) 911, showed no vital signs.
