The body of a man was found this Tuesday morning on the shoulder of the Panama-Colón highway, which alerted the National Police and the Public Ministry. The discovery was made at kilometer 52 of this expressway, which belongs to the Cativá district, at the height of an area known as La Granja and La Represa. The victim was wearing a New York Yankees sweater and dark blue jeans. The area was cordoned off to preserve the crime scene by officials from the Public Ministry and police agents from the region, initiating the judicial investigation process of the case. The body was lying in a ditch and showed no vital signs. Unofficially, it was learned that the victim had signs of firearm wounds, so it is presumed that his death was an execution.
