In commemoration of International Volunteer Day, the IST Foundation, CMC, and Aden conducted a solidarity visit to Hogar Remar. The president of the IST Foundation, Raquel Robleda, and Maibeth Cedeño from CMC highlighted the importance of selfless volunteer work, which strengthens social projects and promotes citizen participation and inclusion. The aim of this action was to reaffirm the social commitment of both organizations to the well-being and dignity of the elderly and other residents of the institution. During the visit, various essential donations were made to improve the quality of life for the residents, including adult diapers, kitchen utensils, dry food, fruit, a television, fans, and personal protective equipment. The event saw the active participation of volunteers from CMC, the IST Foundation, the Chilibre Community Board, and Aden University. This collaborative effort brought companionship, well-being, and hope to the elderly residents of Hogar Remar. The volunteer work was showcased as a transformative force capable of uniting institutions, companies, and the community to build a more empathetic and humane society.
