Four Apprehended in Chiriquí for Robberies, Thefts, and Microtrafficking

Panama's border service detained four individuals in Chiriquí province. Among them are a man with a pending sentence, a woman wanted for theft, and a suspect in a series of robberies. Another man was caught with drugs in Guna Yala comarca.

In Chiriquí province, Panama, four individuals were apprehended by units of the National Border Service (Senafront) for their alleged involvement in theft, robbery, and drug cases. Among those detained is a 24-year-old man who had a pending one-year sentence related to robbery cases. The House of Justice and Peace of Progreso referred him to the Chiriquí penitentiary center after he was located in the Chuchupate area, in Barú. Meanwhile, in Paso Canoas (Barú), units of the Western Fourth Brigade apprehended a 28-year-old woman who was wanted by the Metropolitan Prosecutor's Office for the alleged crime against economic assets (theft and robbery). Following her apprehension, she will be remitted to the capital city for the corresponding procedures. In parallel, in Finca Bongo (Bugaba), border guards captured a 27-year-old man, described as the mastermind behind multiple robberies and illegal home entries. Additionally, in San Ignacio de Tupile, Guna Yala comarca, a subject was caught with fourteen packets of presumed drugs, who apparently was engaged in retail trafficking (microtrafficking).
