In Panama, 25-year-old Kevin Alexander Castillo Soto died after being hospitalized for several days following a stabbing in Colón.
The fatal incident began last Sunday, November 23rd, when Kevin was wounded in the shoulder and abdomen at a house in the El Polvorín sector of Cativá. That day, Castillo got into an argument with another man. At that moment, the assailant drew a bladed weapon and attacked him.
After the attack, Castillo was taken to the emergency room of the Manuel Amador Guerrero Hospital. Following surgery, he was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit, where he died at 1:10 AM on Saturday.
Regarding the assailant, it was reported that he was apprehended on the same day as the attack. Consequently, instead of facing attempted homicide charges, he will be prosecuted for the crime of homicide.
