This Saturday, December 6th, the Colón District Mayor's Office kicks off its festive season with the "Christmas Lighting" event. The show aims to fill the province with hope and Christmas spirit.
Currently, preparations are underway for the installation and decoration of Colón's parks, including the setup of the central Christmas tree and the placement of lights, marking the beginning of the magic in the city.
The main light-switching event will take place this Saturday starting at 4:00 p.m. at the Plaza del Cristo Redentor, located on the Paseo Marino.
Citizens are invited to attend to witness the lighting of the decorations that will adorn the city, with the goal of uniting the community in a "Charming Colón Christmas".
The event will feature a full program including live music, performances by musical bands and an orchestra, the official lighting of the tree and parks, a Christmas bazaar, a gastronomic walk, and a fireworks show.
